Account mostly reposts others' content
Instagram may leave the video out of recommendations, so fewer people see it.

What triggers it
Posting content from other Instagram users that you didn't create or materially enhance 10 or more times in a rolling 30 days makes the account ineligible for recommendations. Since April 2026 this reportedly extends to accounts that primarily post unoriginal photos and carousels too (Engadget quoting Meta; Meta's own post not located).
What Instagram says
“accounts that repeatedly (10 or more times in the last 30 days) post content from other Instagram users that they didn't create or enhance in a material way will not be shown in surfaces where we recommend content”

How to fix it
Transform reposts with your own narration, edits or graphics, or use Collab with the original creator; check eligibility in Account Status.
Good to know
Watermarks or credits to the original creator are 'low-effort edits' that do not count as material. Publishers with licensing agreements are exempt.

A full check of your video looks for it in what's shown. What a check finds is an estimate, not a guarantee.

It doesn't recognize songs or match clips against copyright catalogs, so it can't tell whether you have the rights to them.
Part of this rule depends on your account or on what happens after you post, which a check before posting can't see.
