What triggers it
Targeting people with slurs, tropes, dehumanizing language, fearful stereotypes ('all [group] are terrorists'), hateful references to genocides or lynchings, or calls to harass or boycott people because of race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religion, age, disability or serious disease.

Remove slurs and generalizations about protected groups. Criticize actions or ideas, not group membership.

Severe or repeated slurs: removal and read-only time. Moderate, isolated use: X limits visibility instead. Not covered: criticism of ideas, institutions or governments, political boycotts, reclaimed terms used within a group.
