What triggers it
Violent crimes or accidents, physical fights, blood or feces, visible wounds, severely injured animals, or graphic medical procedures that fall short of gratuitous gore.
What X says
“You're allowed to post the following Violent Media provided it's properly labeled with a content warning so users who do not wish to see it can avoid it.”
We last checked this against X's page on .
How to fix it
Add the Graphic content warning at upload and make sure the first frame is not graphic.
Good to know
No warning needed for: hunting, fishing, food processing, bullfighting or religious sacrifice (unless excessively gory), painted or illustrated violence, humor and memes, healed scars and stitches, fake blood for art or protest, historical media, explosions or shootings with no graphic injury shown. Check the first frame especially, since it is what people see before clicking.
Can FYProof spot it?
A full check of your video looks for it in what's shown. What a check finds is an estimate, not a guarantee.
