Adult nudity or sex without a content warning
X may add a label or a warning to the video.

What triggers it
Frames show adult nudity (visible genitals or anus, female nipples, fully nude buttocks) or sexual behavior (explicit or implied sex, clothed sexual simulation, visible arousal, sex acts that are blurred or strategically covered, sexual bodily fluids). Applies to real, AI-generated, animated, hentai and anime content.
What X says
“You're allowed to post Adult Content provided it's properly labeled with a content warning so users who do not wish to see it can avoid it.”
We last checked this against X's page on .
How to fix it
Add the one-time Adult content warning when posting, or turn on 'Mark media you post as containing material that may be sensitive' if you post this often. Expect no reach to non-followers, minors, logged-out users or users without a birth date even when labeled.
Good to know
Check every frame, not only the first. Watch for the categories above. Does NOT need a warning: breast-cancer or other educational content, medical content (post-surgery), partial or digitally obscured nudity such as modeling or beach footage, activist nudity, artistic nudity (paintings, sculptures), political parody or satire, non-sexual memes.
Can FYProof spot it?
A full check of your video looks for it in what's shown and the words on screen. What a check finds is an estimate, not a guarantee.
