What triggers it
Sensitive material that would otherwise break a rule, posted as documentary, educational, medical/scientific, counterspeech, satire or art. It may stay up but can still be FYF-ineligible, get a warning screen or a context label.
What TikTok says
“Even if we allow content under a public interest exception, we might still:”

How to fix it
State the purpose clearly with captions, stickers or voiceover ('news report', 'educational', 'this is satire'), and expect limited For You reach.
Good to know
When sensitive material is found, check whether the intent is stated in the caption, on screen or in voiceover. No exception for content that could cause extreme harm (e.g. explicit abuse of a minor).
Can FYProof spot it?
A full check of your video looks for it in what's shown, what's said, the words on screen and the caption. What a check finds is an estimate, not a guarantee.
