Election or political issue content on Spotlight
Snapchat may leave the video out of recommendations, so fewer people see it.

What triggers it
Content about candidates, parties, ballot measures or PACs, 'go vote' messages, or advocacy on debated public issues, posted by a creator who is not a pre-approved Partner or Snap Star.
What Snapchat says
“Political Content is eligible for recommendation on Spotlight only from trusted, pre-approved Partners or Snap Star Creators.”

How to fix it
If you are not a Snap Star or approved Partner, expect no Spotlight reach for this video; post it to your Story for followers instead.
Good to know
Look for candidate or party names, campaign logos, 'vote', 'register to vote', ballot or referendum references, or advocacy on abortion, immigration, guns and similar debated issues. Followers and friends still see it.
