Secret filming in private places or a child's location
Snapchat may leave the video out of recommendations, so fewer people see it.

What triggers it
Sensitive personal information, people covertly recorded or exposed where they reasonably expect privacy (homes, bathrooms, changing rooms), or details that reveal where a child can be found.
What Snapchat says
“These Recommendation Eligibility Guidelines additionally prohibit sharing sensitive personal information, covertly recording or exposing people in places where they reasonably expect privacy, or exposing where a child can be found.”

How to fix it
Cut footage of people filmed without their knowledge in private spaces, and blur school names, street signs and location tags near children.
Good to know
Hidden or candid filming of people inside homes, bathrooms, changing rooms or similar private spaces; a child's school name or uniform crest, home street, or live location shown with the child. People filmed openly in public places, and footage where everyone visibly takes part, do not count.
Can FYProof spot it?
A full check of your video looks for it in what's shown, what's said, the words on screen and the caption. What a check finds is an estimate, not a guarantee.
