What triggers it
Provocative dancing or fondling that invites sexual activity, poses meant to arouse, lingerie or clothing not acceptable in public, or shots focused on intimate areas.
What YouTube says
“A video where the subject is in clothing that is considered unacceptable in public contexts, such as lingerie”
We last checked this against YouTube's page on .
How to fix it
Reframe or crop so intimate areas are not the focus, drop arousing poses (especially in the thumbnail) and remove sexualized title words.
Good to know
Check whether intimate areas are the focal point of the shot, whether poses or camera work are meant to arouse, and whether the title or thumbnail sexualizes the content. Swimwear at a beach or pool, fitness clothing in a workout, and ordinary dance are not this.
Can FYProof spot it?
