What triggers it
Making or modifying guns, promoting gun makers or sellers or their discount codes, minors using guns unsupervised, bump stocks, thermal or IR sights, explosive ammo, magazines over 30 rounds, fully automatic guns, 3D-printed guns.
What YouTube says
“Content featuring large capacity magazines (more than 30 rounds) attached or separate from a gun.”
We last checked this against YouTube's page on .
How to fix it
Film at ranges, remove gun-shop codes and sponsors, and don't show modifications.
Good to know
30-round magazines are fine since Feb 2026. Guns used outside a controlled environment such as a range get limited ads. Cleaning and maintenance disassembly can earn ads.
