Footage of a child being abused
Threads may take the video down.

What triggers it
Video or photos of real or non-real non-sexual child abuse (hitting, kicking, abusive punishment), even when shared to condemn it or raise awareness.
What Threads says
“Videos or photos that depict real or non-real non-sexual child abuse regardless of sharing intent, unless the imagery is from real-world art, cartoons, movies or video games”
We last checked this against Threads's page on .
How to fix it
Remove the footage and describe the incident in words or with an illustration instead.
Good to know
Awareness framing does not save it. Exceptions: real-world art, cartoons, movies, video games. Abuse by police or military gets a warning screen and 18+ instead.
Can FYProof spot it?
A full check of your video looks for it in what's shown. What a check finds is an estimate, not a guarantee.
