Myth or Rule?
“‘Tag a friend who needs this’ gets a Facebook post shown to fewer people.”
RuleFacebook's distribution guide names posts that ask for tags, likes, shares or comments just to get them. A real call to action is fine. Begging for tags isn't.
“Posts that explicitly request engagement (such as votes, shares, comments, tags, likes, or other reactions) for purposes other than a specific call to action”Read it on transparency.meta.com (opens in a new tab)
