What triggers it
Attacks on people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, disability, religion, caste, sexual orientation, sex, gender identity, serious disease (and immigration status for the worst attacks): dehumanizing comparisons (animals, pathogens, filth), slurs, harmful stereotypes, serious insults, calls for exclusion, targeted cursing.

How to fix it
Mute or bleep slurs, cut dehumanizing comparisons, and make condemning or reporting intent explicit.
Good to know
Check song lyrics and quoted clips too. Allowed when the intent is clearly to condemn or report, or when a slur is used self-referentially/empoweringly. Since 2025-01-07 some allegations about gender or sexual orientation are allowed in political or religious discourse.
